GM’s Beginning of the Month Report, February 1^st 2012;  Sunrise is at 9:20am and sunset is at 5:06pm for a total of 7 hours and 46 minutes of daylight. January was one on the coldest on record and we’ve had more snow this winter than all of last winter. Temperatures are in the single digits and teens right now. Getting closer to a resolution on all the damage to the field from the November wind storm. I’ve started ordering gear and equipment for the season. We’re in the process of contacting the recruits to answer questions and give them an idea of what to expect.  

Mat-Su Miners Annual Meeting will be held @ the downstairs MTA Conference Room, Palmer on March 1^st at 6pm.  To attend the meeting is $25.00 per person to be a voting member.

We’ll be selling Grand Slam raffle tickets soon to kick off our first fundraiser on April 28^th. Denise has started the marketing, contacting sponsors, box seat holders and Days at the Park. Next report will be February 15^th. That’s it for now. Pete and Denise.
