-Visitors Dugout Upgrades
Approx. $2,000
Remove rotten wood framing, roofing and stairs. Replace with new wood
framing, metal roofing and wooden stairs. Place new metal safety railing
top of dugout.
-Renovate Box Seats Behind
Home Plate Approx. $1100
Remove rotted decking and replace. All box seats must be removed first,
then re-installed.
-Upgrade Field Sprinkler
and Water Feed Approx. $2500
Bury and install approximately 500' of 2" PVC pipe with valve boxes
in warning track. Purchase hose reel and nozzle for watering infield.
-Purchase New Shed (10'x10')
Approx. $2000
New shed needed to store game groundskeeping tools, which includes rakes,
shovels, brooms, chalk, tarps, mowers, etc. To be placed behind first
base dugout where 10' gate onto field is located. This will allow teams
(other than Miners) access to equipment.

-Visiting Team Housing
Approx. $3,000
Renovate both Atco Trailer dorms. Each trailer can house 14 players. There
are 4 rooms per trailer with bunkbeds. 8 windows, 8 doors and 8 stairs
need to be replaced.
-Visiting Team Showers
(10'x16') Approx. $5600
Build new heated shower shed next to trailers. It will contain 4 showers
and 2- 50 gallon water tanks. All electric.
All work to be done by
volunteers. Hermon Brothers Field is used by Palmer Little League, Colony
High School Baseball, Palmer High School Baseball, Alaska State Fair and
the Mat-Su Miners of the Alaska Baseball League.
